Turkana

This portrait of a Turkana couple was completed In 1995, The Turkana is still living a largely traditional life.
Loele Losiyomoi and his wife Imoru fit this description. They are pastoralists who had lost all their cattle in a raid.
They live in a makeshift huts of woven reeds. They were rich with what was on their bodies. They wear full traditional regalia with some of the most beautiful, expensive and valuable accessories.
