Nandi

In 1997, the artist met and painted the lively and colourful Kipyego Saina, a traditional entertainer and farmer.
Usually he was paid with a good drink and a small amount of money. The consequence of all the drinking was that he became addicted to alcohol.
Popular in Kapsabet and Nandi region he was easily recognisable by his traditional dance attire.
